Cyclostomes are jawless fishes and they lay eggs in fresh water and die, and then the young ones after metamorphosis, come back to marine water, so both B and D are right, so why is the answer D ??

Very little is known about hagfish(Myxine) reproduction. They do not have a larval stage and no metamorphosis occurs.
