Here oxidation number of Fe should be II according to me so how is it given to be III

yes,in the solution they've taken (0)for NO ....i.e.general but as far as I know here the single e- present in NO is given to Fe that decreases it's oxd.state from +3 to +2 ....& it's an exceptional case....but I do prefer it to be (+2) rather than (+3)
