What is the difference between multi-molecular and macromolecular

colloids? Give one example of each.

Multi-molecular colloid is aggregation of large number of atoms 

or smaller molecules of a substance having size in the colloidal

range. Whereas macromolecular colloid is the solution containing

macromolecules in the colloidal range. 

Example: Multimolecular colloids: Gold sol, Sulphur sol

Macromolecular colloids: Proteins, Cellulose
