Since the reaction is of the first order

 k = 2.303t logaa-x        log100x = 0.781

Given: k = 2.0 × 10-4 = k = 2.303900 logaa-x

    logaa-x = 2.0×10-4×9002.303

     logaa-x = 0.0781

    logaa-x = antilog(0.0781) = 1.197

       a = 1.197a - 1.197x

  0.197a = 1.197x

    xa=0.1971.197=0.1645

 % decomposd = 0.1645×100 = 16.45%
