NEET Chemistry Chemical Kinetics Questions Solved

Distinguish between 'rate expression' and 'rate constant' of a reaction.

Rate expression: The expression which expresses  the rate of reaction in terms of molar concentrations of the reactants with each term raised to their power, which may or may not be same as the stoichiometric coefficient of that reactant in the balanced chemical euation.

Rate constant: The rate of reaction when the molar concentration of each reactant is taken as unity.
