Carbon dioxide  dissociates from carbaminohaemoglobin when

1.  pCO2 is high and pO2 is low
2.  pO2 is high and pCO2 is low
3.  pCO2 and pO2 are equal
4.  None of the above

 (b) When, the PCO2,is low and pO2 is high asin the lung alveoli, dissociation of carbondioxide from carbamino-haemoglobin takes place, carbondioxide which is bound to haemoglobin from the tissue is delivered at the alveoli, to maintain the concentration of carbondioxide thus increasing p carbondioxide.
Exchange of gases takes place between tissue capillary and tissue cells. Capillary cells with high pCO2 causes diffusion of oxygen into tissue cells via tissue fluid on the other hand high pCO2 in the tissue cells causes diffusion of carbondioxide into tissue capillary via tissue fluid.
