1. Linnaeus is considered as Father of Taxonomy. Name two other botanists known for their contribution to the field of plant taxonomy.

Carolus Linnaeus (1707-1778), a Swedish botanist is regarded as Father of Plant Taxonomy. He published his work in book Genera Plantarum in (1737). Other two botanist are G Bentham and Joseph Dalton Hooker. Both are famous for their work on classification of plants based on natural characteristics.
