If two liquids A and B form minimum boiling azeotrope at some specific composition then A—B interactions are weaker than those of A—A and B—B. It is due to the fact that in case of positive deviation, we get minimum boling azeotropes whereas in case of negative deviation we get maximum boiling azeotropes.
