Which of the following is correct?

(i). \(\mathrm{CH}_3-\mathrm{O}-\mathrm{CH}_2{ }^{\oplus} \text { is more stable than } \mathrm{CH}_3-\mathrm{CH}_2{ }^{\oplus}\)
(ii). \(\left(\mathrm{CH}_3\right)_2 \mathrm{CH}^{\oplus} \text { is less stable than } \mathrm{CH}_3-\mathrm{CH}_2-\mathrm{CH}_2{ }^{\oplus}\)
(iii).  \(\mathrm{CH}_2=\mathrm{CH}-\mathrm{CH}_2{ }^{\oplus} \text { is more stable than } \mathrm{CH}_3-\mathrm{CH}_2-\mathrm{CH}_2{ }^{\oplus}\)
(iv). \(\mathrm{CH}_2=\mathrm{CH}^{\oplus} \text { is more stable than } \mathrm{CH}_3-\mathrm{CH}_2{ }^{\oplus}\)

1. (i) & (iv)
2. (iii) Only
3. (i) & (iii)
4. (i) ,(iii),(iv)

(1, 3)
(i) + I-effect increases the stability of carbocation +I-effect i.e., CH3-O>-CH3. Thus CH3-O-C+H2 is more stable than CH3-C+H2.
(ii) (CH3)2CH+ is more stable than CH3-CH2-C+H2 because former has stabilised by + I-effect of two -CH3 groups.
