Hint: In both of the cases acceleration is constant.
Step 1: The slope of the v-t curve is constant

It is clear from the graph that displacement x is positive throughout. The ball is dropped from a height and its velocity increases in a downward direction due to gravity pull. In this condition vis negative but the acceleration of the bail is equal to the acceleration due to gravity i.e., a = - g. When the ball rebounds in an upward direction its velocity is positive but acceleration is a = -g

Step 2: Draw the v-t curve

(a) The velocity-time graph of the ball is shown in fig. (i).

Step 3: Draw the a-t curve

(b) The acceleration-time graph of the ball is shown in fig. (ii).
