${P}_{1}{V}^{\gamma }={P}_{2}\text{\hspace{0.17em}}{\left(\frac{V}{2}\right)}^{\gamma }⇒{P}_{2}={\left(2\right)}^{\gamma }{P}_{1}$

Since $\gamma >1$, hence ${P}_{2}\text{'}>{P}_{2}$ or ${P}_{2}<{{P}^{\text{'}}}_{2}$
