State Eligibility Criteria :

  • The applicant should be a Permanent Resident/Domicile of any North-eastern states of India .
  • The candidates must be born between May 7, 1994 to January 1, 2003. The upper age limit will be relaxed by 3 years for SC/ST.
  • The applicant must have studied from class 6 to 10 in any North-eastern states of India.
  • The Children of employees of Central Government, Other State/UT Govt. who are on deputation to Manipur can also apply..
  • The Children of employees of Central Government, All India Services Other State/UT Govt. posted in or having Headquarter within Manipur can also apply.
  • The candidate must have passed +2 Sc. and in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English individually and must have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry & Biology at +2 Sc. level for General Candidate (GE), 40% for SC/ST candidates and 45% for benchmark disability candidates.

Counselling and Admission Process of Manipur NEET 2019 :

Directorate of Health Services (DHS), Manipur is the authority which will be conducting the Counselling and Admission process of Manipur.

The counselling for Manipur MBBS/BDS 2019 admission will be conducted by NEIGRIHMS. Admission of students to Manipur MBBS 2019 will be conducted as per the merit list released by the authorities. The mode of counselling for Manipur MBBS/BDS admission 2019 will be offline. The candidates need to bring their original certificates/documents along with the self-attested copies and passport size photographs to the Manipur MBBS 2019 counselling centre to get them verified.

Counseling Committee reserves the right to withdraw the name of the candidate from merit list of state, if any, placed inadvertently who is not eligible to be placed in the state merit list due to any reason.

Process of counselling :

Registration : All the merit listed candidates who wish to participate in counseling procedure for admission must register in due time.

Document Verification : The candidate has to attend the document verification session. In case of emergency any authorized person on behalf of the candidate can attend on production of authorization letter of candidate. The candidate has to submit the counseling/application fees and taking the print out of the transaction. The candidate has to submit self attested copies of documents along with Originals.

Choice Locking : The candidate has to submit his/her choice of course and college in order of preference as per schedule.

Seat Allotment : College and course will be allotted on merit basis. The candidate has to deposit the original College Leaving Certificate / School Leaving Certificate as the case may be and will be issued a provisional admission letter.

Reporting to the Alloted College : The candidate must report before the authority of the institution allotted with in stipulated date as notified and submit a copy of the provisional admission letter for completion of admission process at institutional level.

Candidates must carry the allotment letter along with other required documents while reporting to the alloted college.

Important Guidelines to fill Application Form :

i. Candidate should follow the Instructions carefully and to fill in the Application Form taking utmost care.

ii. The Institute will not be responsible for faulty communication due to incorrect address given by the applicant in the Application Form.

iii. Incomplete Application Form will be summarily rejected and no correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

iv. If ineligibility of a candidate is detected at any stage, before or after the admission, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected.

v. In case any candidate is found to have furnished false information or certificate etc. or is found to have withheld or concealed any material information in his/her application, he/she will be debarred from admission.
