The Cut-off of Chandigarh NEET Examination will be released by the Government Medical College & Hospital, Chandigarh.

CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus from Class IX to XII and this could also have an impact on the syllabus of NEET 2021. However, for those who are in class 11 or 12, their focus should be Exam Preparation. NEET syllabus is divided into four subjects - PhysicsChemistryBotany and Zoology. Students need to complete all the 97 chapters of the NEET Syllabus in order to score a good rank in NEET Exam. Counselling and Admission Process of Chandigarh NEET :

A candidate can visit the official Portal of Government Medical College & Hospital to get themselves registered for the process of Chandigarh NEET Counselling. The regulatory authority will conduct the counselling of Chandigarh MBBS 2021 in offline mode. Aspirants who will be included in the merit list of MBBS or BDS will eligible to participate for MBBS counselling. Only candidates included in the provisional merit list will be required to report at the counselling venue for seat allotment process. At the counselling venue, the selected students need to provide their choices of colleges and courses.

The applicant must have qualified in NEET to be eligible for admission. The online application form of Chandigarh will open tentatively in the second week of June and is the same for both the courses (MBBS and BDS). The Chandigarh counselling and seat allotment will be conducted online.

Now, Let’s take a quick view of the whole process of counselling :

Registration: During the registration for MBBS and BDS counselling, candidates will be required to enter their preferences of colleges as well as courses, in which they wish to get admission into. The applicants are required to register online on the official portal. Fill all the details asked in the application form.

Choosing and locking: After login, candidates can fill their choices online in the ‘preference form’ that will appear on the computer screen. Candidates can choose the course as well as college of their preference and then lock-in the chosen preferences in the online portal. They can enter as many numbers of preferences as they want.

Seat Allotment: Seat allotment will be done on the basis of candidate’s choice filled, category, rank, and availability of seats. It is in the hands of the candidate to accept or reject the seat. The candidates rejecting the seat allotted in the first round can apply for the second round. Second round again requires registration, choosing preferences and locking and seat allotment.

Reporting to Allotted College: The candidates who are allotted a seat will be required to report at the assigned college with the required documents, a demand draft of the prescribed fee amount, and two copies of the registration form for submission of the necessary documents.

After the final allotment, candidates can pay the fee and download the admission ticket from the concerned website. Candidates must carry the allotment letter along with other required documents while reporting to the allotted college.
