NEET Daman & Diu State Quota 2019/2020 : Seats, participating Colleges, Cutoff, Couselling and Merit List
Daman and Diu Seat Matrix is the number of seats available in the colleges of Daman and Diu. In order to get admission, the aspirants are required to register themselves by filling up the application form the details of which have been mentioned in the prospectus. Candidates must have appeared and possess a valid score in NEET along with meeting all the eligibility criteria.

Eligibility Criteria :
- A candidate should be an Indian citizen.
- Non-resident Indians, Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) /Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) cardholders can also apply under NRI category.
- The candidates must be 17 years old. If an aspirant belongs to reserved category then 3 years age relaxation is given.
- Candidates seeking admission to the M.B.B.S/B.D.S. Degree courses must have passed their examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% of marks for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC candidates) in aggregate, in the prescribed subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Biotechnology, Botany and Zoology. Further they should have studied English as one of the subjects and they must have passed the above four subjects individually.
- A candidate or his/her parent should have resided in the Union territory for at least 5 years.
Counselling and Admission Process of Daman and Diu NEET :
The candidates are invited to participate in counselling sessions in accordance with the merit list. Aspirants are required to carry their admission cards which they have received after the application fee payment and should be submitted along with the other necessary documents at the allotted centre for admission. Only those students who will report to the allotted College within the allotted time will be considered for admission, failing which their candidature will be cancelled.
Counselling Committee reserves the right to withdraw the name of the candidate from merit list of state, if any, placed inadvertently who is not eligible to be placed in the state merit list due to any reason.

Process of counselling :
Registration : All the merit listed candidates who wish to participate in counseling procedure for admission must register in due time.
Document Verification : The candidate has to attend the document verification session and get his/her application authenticated. In case of emergency any authorized person on behalf of the candidate can attend on production of authorization letter of candidate. The candidate has to submit self attested copies of documents along with Originals.
Seat Allotment : College and course will be allotted on merit basis. The candidate can download the allotment cum admission letter and personally appear before the Chairman on the notified date, time and venue along with required admission fees for provisional admission. The candidate has to deposit the original College Leaving Certificate / School Leaving Certificate as the case may be and will be issued a provisional admission letter.
Reporting to the Alloted College : The candidate must report before the authority of the institution allotted with in stipulated date as notified and submit a copy of the provisional admission letter for completion of admission process at institutional level.
Candidates must carry the allotment letter along with other required documents while reporting to the alloted college.

Documents Required for Admission :
Candidates are required to bring the following valid original documents along with one set of attested copies at the time of admission without which his/her candidature will not be considered:-
i) High School Certificate and Marksheet.
ii) Intermediate Mark sheet and Certificate.
iii) Four passport size photographs as pasted in the NEET application form.
iv) Domicile Certificate, if applicable.
v) Minority certificate, if applicable.
vi) NEET Admit Card
vii) NEET Score card.
viii) ID Proof.
ix) Permanent Caste Certificate.
x) Passing certificate of having studied from Class 6 to 12 from an institution in the state.
xi) Income certificate, if claiming fee exemption.
xii) Copy of Application Form.
xiii) Scanned copy of candidate’s signature.
xiv) Certificate of physical disability, as applicable.
xv) Valid birth certificate.
