NEET Aadhar Card

The use of Aadhaar for the candidates of NEET (UG)-2017 is basically done for accuracy in candidates’ details. Amongst all the newly introduced changes, CBSE has introduced a technical change in the manner in which NEET Application Form 2019 is filled. From this year onwards, CBSE is instantly authenticating candidate's information entered at the time of registration with UIDAI Aadhar database. In case one's data doesn't find a match with Aadhar database, then the system will not register the candidate and will not allow them to proceed.

CBSE has made Aadhaar mandatory for the candidates of NEET and has issued the following guidelines:

  1. Aadhar number has been made mandatory for all the national as well as ordinary citizens of India and it has to be provided while filling the NEET application form in all states of our country except Jammu & Kashmir, Assam & Meghalaya.
  2. For NRI residents, Foreign nationals, Overseas citizen of India (OCIs), Person of Indian Origin (PIOs), Passport number has been made mandatory and it has to be provided while filling the online form.
  3. Details such as Aadhar number, name, date of birth, gender, will have to be entered while filling the NEET online form & also give their consent to CBSE to validate the information provided by them with the UIDAI's database.
  4. The candidate need to ensure that Aadhar card details match with their school records. in case of any discrepancy the online form will be cancelled. So the candidate need to ensure that if their is any mismatch then it has to be rectified immediately, in Aadhar card or School records, as the case is.
