sir the formula used on the second question is different from what you have taught...is it wrong ?? (moseley's law)

sir in q 2 you have said only two atoms but in most of the books it is given d( it can be either 3 or 2). sir from n3 to n1 , n3to n2 and n2 to n1 . so there can be 3 atoms or 2 atoms... plz explain...
