NEET Chattisgarh State Quota 2021: Seats, participating Colleges, Cutoff, Counselling, and Merit List

The admission process of Chhattisgarh will be Conducted by The Directorate of Medical Education, Raipur. NEET Seat Matrix is the number of seats available in various Private and Government Medical and Dental Colleges of the state. On the basis of marks obtained in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, students will be granted admission to medical and dental colleges under 85% state quota seats, while the remaining 15% seats in all government medical colleges will be reserved for All India Quota candidates.

CBSE has decided to reduce the syllabus from Class IX to XII and this could also have an impact on the syllabus of NEET 2021. However, for those who are in class 11 or 12, their focus should be Exam Preparation. State Eligibility Criteria :

  1. A candidate should be born in Chhattisgarh.
  2. An aspirant or their parents should be the resident of Chhattisgarh.
  3. The parent of the candidate should be working with the Chhattisgarh or Central Government and are living in the state.
  1. An aspirant must have completed a minimum of three years of education from any institute located in the state.
  2. An applicant who has not passed Class 8 from the Chhattisgarh must have appeared in PSU of Chhattisgarh state and must have completed graduation from a university located in the state for Chhattisgarh MBBS/BDS admission 2021.
  3. Candidates must have completed Class 11 and Class 12 from a University or board located in Chhattisgarh.

Counseling and Admission Process of Chhattisgarh NEET :

The Directorate of Medical Education (DME), Raipur is the authority that will be conducting the Counselling and Admission process of Chhattisgarh.

The state committee will conduct two rounds of Chhattisgarh MBBS counseling in online mode only. Aspirants who will be included in the state merit list are eligible to participate in online counseling. Students who will be allotted seats during the counseling of Chhattisgarh MBBS must report at the designated college/institution for completion of the admission process and document verification.

Counseling Committee reserves the right to withdraw the name of the candidate from the merit list of state, if any, placed inadvertently who is not eligible to be placed in the state merit list due to any reason.

Process of counseling:

Registration: All the merit listed candidates who wish to participate in the counselling procedure for admission must register in due time in the Official Website. Registration means creating your own username and password for logging in to the online counseling site. Without registration, the candidate cannot proceed to the next step of the online application. The user name and password must not be shared with others.

Online Application: After log-in to the site the candidate has to fill up the online application form and submit by clicking the “submit” button. A printout of the online application form must be taken.

Document Verification: The candidate has to attend the document verification session and get his/her online application authenticated. In case of emergency, any authorized person on behalf of the candidate can attend on the production of the authorization letter of the candidate. The candidate has to submit the counseling/application fees through online mode and taking the print out of the transaction. The candidate has to submit self-attested copies of documents along with Originals.

Choice Locking: The candidate has to submit his/her choice of course and college in order of preference as per schedule, in the online site, and lock the choice. If the choice is not locked due to some reason, it will be locked automatically when the time schedule is over.

Seat Allotment: College and course will be allotted on merit basis. The candidate can download the allotment cum admission letter and personally appear before the Chairman on the notified date, time, and venue along with required admission fees for provisional admission. The candidate has to deposit the original College Leaving Certificate / School Leaving Certificate as the case may be and will be issued a provisional admission letter.

Reporting to the Allotted College: The candidate must report before the authority of the institution allotted within the stipulated date as notified and submit a copy of the provisional admission letter for completion of the admission process at the institutional level.

Candidates must carry the allotment letter along with other required documents while reporting to the allotted college.

Documents Required for Admission :

Candidates are required to bring the following valid original documents along with one set of attested copies at the time of admission without which his/her candidature will not be considered:-

i) High School Certificate and Marksheet.

ii) Intermediate Mark sheet and Certificate.

iii) Four passport size photographs as pasted in the NEET application form.

iv) Domicile Certificate, if applicable.

v) Minority certificate, if applicable.

vi) NEET Admit Card

viii) ID Proof.

ix) Permanent Caste Certificate.

x) Passing certificate of having studied from Class 6 to 12 from an institution in the state.

xi) Income certificate if claiming fee exemption.

xii) Copy of Application Form.

xiii) Scanned copy of the candidate’s signature.

xiv) Certificate of physical disability, as applicable.
